All our products have nice stuff in them- like free range eggs, organic vanilla and fair trade chocolate and coffee- So you can feel safe in the knowledge that you’re making the world a better place to be in just by eating cake!

We also offer a gluten and dairy free range- Just call or email for a chat on the specifics. In particular, our gluten free sponge has won high praise from our customers.
(Please note that as we do bake cakes with wheat flour in the same oven, it’s impossible for us to say our cakes are truly gluten free, but all the ingredients used are entirely free of gluten)

Flavour menu

Our deliciously light  sponges come in a variety of  flavours and are all topped with softly whipped buttercream in a complementary flavour:

Vanilla- delicately flavoured with Madagascar vanilla essence
Mix it up
The sponge on its own is simplicity at it’s best, but why not add a filling:
-Strawberry jam
-Raspberry jam
-Sour cherry compote

Lemon- with real lemon juice and zest

-With a sweet lemon curd centre
-With poppy seeds

Classic Chocolate- a light chocolate sponge made with fair trade cocoa powder

-Black forest gateau- with sour cherry compote filling
-Chocomel- with a toffee filling
-With dark, milk and white chocolate chips

Coffee- With a buzzy hit of fair trade coffee

-With walnuts
-Mocha- a marbled mixture of chocolate and coffee

Butterscotch- soft brown sugar adds a hint of toffee and the hidden caramel centre is a nice surprise

Banana- soft and moist with fresh banana and a hint of spice

-Banoffee- with creamy caramel filling

Carrot- spiked with cinnamon and orange zest and St Clements buttercream

Devils food cake- a richer and darker alternative to our classic chocolate sponge

Gingerbread- rich, dark and squidgy with spice and stem ginger

Coconut- delicate coconut sponge, with a delicious lime butter cream topping
